My girlfriend has banned me from playing this song because it "creeps her out". She's now banned from playing slow, emotional acoustic guitar songs because they "put me to sleep". Completely in love with the the whole concept of this album.

Nice play - that'll show her! ... but it creeps me out that it creeps her out

    jamesstirling

Actually, she's banned me from walking up behind her and singing/growling it. Not sure she's heard the actual song yet, just the threat of planet enslavement using magic.

CWC - Troglodithic Trip is out on vinyl, therefore CWC is not supposed to be able to be pressed on FeedBands - like Filthy Tongues - sucks. Have you listened to Troglodithic Trip?  What's not to like about planet enslavement?  Better by magic than military might.  Politicians have been pulling rabbits out their asses for centuries.

Hear hear! I'll have to give Troglodithic Trip a go

Troglodithic Trip rocks HARD. I think I can envisage it finding its way into my collection. Also, I got myself a copy of Jacob's Ladder. Isn't Discogs great?

I get a lot of FeedBand stuff off of Bandcamp also.

Ideally, I would have purchased it directly from them but they were all sold out (of Jacob's Ladder). No point saying I support independent artists if I exclusively buy second hand. I've ordered Spaceous Cretaceous from Bandcamp, should arrive this month.

Excuse me if I miss any response from you - The Globe is not informing me of replies or much of anything else. Interesting that you brought up Discogs - last week I did a little research on all the available FeedBand lps.  I was going to publish some of the results in the forum - still might just for my own satisfaction.  If you get a chance search FeedBands and sort by artist.  What artists are available/who's not and asking prices.  I see it as an indicator as to which albums are most precious to members and some possible desirability bu non-members.  Though Discogs is not the only re-sale site, but it is one I use frequently.  --  Hope your year is starting off fantastic.

The globe isn't doing too well for me either... A conspiracy!

I've had a look at the Feedband releases on Discogs and some of the prices paid are crazy! Less than $10??

Some over $300 - asking price

    jamesstirling

Jeepers. Feedbands could make a packet by hawking their leftover stock on Discogs.

Look closer - it appears that most of the $300 are in Australia (if I remember right). Big bucks club:  9 Theory / Shelter In The Desert / Bella Donna / Erez / Floozies / Geoffrey Williams / Hunter As A Horse / Fort Vine / Native Howl ($860) / Midnight Snack / Royal Jelly Jive (17 lps @ $14 - $204) / Shrug Boat / Sleep Maps / Tank Bangas / Vliets (18 @ $16-$225)

There seems to be one guy (TREVORDUNEN) selling a bunch of Feedbands records in Australia for hundreds of dollars. Some of the records aren't even sold out on Feedbands!

There's a sucker born every minute! Apparently more in Australia.
