I love the lyrics. Highly relatable once again. This line especially: "But something I noticed internally Like I didn't believe in God but God believe in me Was this a feeling from the divine Or something I made up in my mind?" I am conservative baptist turned liberal mennonite, with high emphasis on doing good in our community whether god exists or not. Sometimes I wonder if I am an atheist, and sometimes I wonder if I am agnostic. But, I digress.... you remind me of "MewithoutYou". You are unique in your own way, but your sound is somehow very familiar.

I dig this so much. Thanks for sharing your experience. I grew up in a conservative baptist home, and I imagine many of my old friends think I'm destined for hell as well, even though they haven't said it to me. My mother once told me that the devil was inside of me, after she learned that I started drinking after leaving home (I was 22 at the time). I value science far more than religion now, and I think I can't hide it. Anyway, I say that to say that I feel like I can relate. I love the raw emotion in this song. Can't wait to hear the rest!

  • "Hush" by Magic City Hippies is in number one position, with "BRNT" in 3rd. While I recognize (twig ;) ) that this does not necessarily indicate it will get pressed, I remain hopeful. Honestly have been wanting it pressed since I first heard MCH. If you haven't paid MCH much attention, I suggest you give them a listen.

I dig it. Got a real 80's sound IMO. All things old are new again, and I love it. I have a soft spot for synthesizers.

  • @ces1um I think the message to Kirby was a good move. Please post the answer here when you get it.

  • I'm not positive, but I don't think the cryptocurrency payment requirements effects those of us just buying records. The way I read it, it sounds like it is aimed at being a quick and nearly fee less transfer of funds for paying artists (it sounds like this may happen behind the scenes, and I cannot find the page to add a dash wallet on payment in user settings). You may need Dash in order to buy individual songs however.

I posted Kirby's response but other things have been upvoted burying my message. In case you missed it, Kirby said it doesn't affect us subscribers in any way.  Business as usual for us.   Only recent changes (and I'm sure you got the email) is they've announced a long overdue minimal price increase.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

Thanks! I think I may be on The Thin Ice of modern life.

I appreciated the Floyd references (even in this response)....and we could all learn to slow down a little.
