Feedbands reserves the right to maintain full editorial control over the bands and albums that get pressed to vinyl. Feedbands weighs the votes that songs and artists receive, but does not make offers to press vinyl dependent solely upon votes.
When considering the votes that songs and artists have received during the vinyl decision making process, Feedbands looks closely at votes from actual vinyl subscribers and weighs these votes much more heavily than votes from anonymous accounts. This is to help ensure that our subscriber base, which is the base of our entire company, remains happy and satisfied and received music they really enjoy. For this reason, we mainly count subscriber votes when determining who to press for vinyl. Ranking on our app and website, however, reflect global votes, including votes from people who are not Feedbands subscribers. We take these rankings into careful consideration as well.
Feedbands reserves the right to remove any music from our streaming service at any time. We strive to maintain a musical aesthetic that is engaging to our listeners. We may, from time to time, remove music that does not receive enough votes. We may, from time to time, remove music from our streaming service that has received many votes but that our editorial team feels is unsuitable for our service (which may include, but not be limited to, music that is hateful, racist, sexist, etc.).
Feedbands reserves the right to maintain full editorial control over what music gets streamed in the first place. We receive submissions every day and simply cannot stream everything. As a listener, you wouldn’t want us to. We want to provide the best listening experience anywhere on the web, with the newest, freshest music, and we can only do this by filtering out 90% of submissions that we feel, on an editorial level, do not make the cut to stream.
